Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Obtain repair orders from the dispatcher and navigate vehicles to the appropriate stall.
• Follow closely the work outlined on the repair order to provide quick, thorough, and excellent work that complies with all dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Make efficient and accurate diagnoses of customer problems and fix them as authorized by the customer.
• Maintain professional communication with the Parts Department to obtain all necessary parts.
• Label and set aside parts for turning in when the job is under warranty or if the customer so requests it.
• If more work is needed, less work is required, or more time is needed to complete your work, notice the service advisor immediately.
• Maintain professional documentation of work performed.
• Make use of road tests to confirm that the customer’s complaint is satisfied.
• Perform quality checks to ensure that work performed is up to our standards.
• Attend all mandatory training classes.
• Stay on top of all factory technical bulletins and other updates.
• Keep customer vehicles as clean as possible throughout your work.
• Promote and follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Know, apply, and follow all guidelines provided by federal, state, or local governments and agencies regarding automotive technician work.
